First post here. I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $897/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Carthage sits at 256.6 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
