I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $287,000 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in consulting you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
Good luck with whatever you decide..
