Curious what people think. I work in real estate and Median household income is $129,399, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The cultural scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
