Alright, The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 2 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Summers can be brutally hot
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is decent.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Nashville it's average.
