I'm a 40-year-old mechanic and The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. It's a a small town city with about 1,382 people. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
