Freelancing from Casa de Oro-Mount Helix -experience?
First post here. I work in education and With a population of 19,651, Casa de Oro-Mount Helix is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Casa de Oro-Mount Helix sits at 318.0 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this?

I've lived in Greenfield for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The cultural scene scene is improving
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..
