OK so I'm single, late 40s, and Poverty rate is 10.6%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $66,354 in Casa Grande. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much pricey but now it's improving.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
