Honest thoughts on life in Casas Adobes

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and Average temperature is around 70--F, so it's warm year-round. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 4 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is decent in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Houston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are manageable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. No regrets on my end..
