Thinking about relocating to Casas Adobes from St. Louis
Alright, Rent is about $1,516/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
