Best apartments in Cascade Locks under ?

Hi all, I work in education and You can expect to pay around $1,178 for rent here. Rent is about $1,178/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in South for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- The outdoor recreation scene is tough

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.
