Casper is underrated, change my mind
Longtime lurker here, You can expect to pay around $964 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Casper sits at 292.6 per 100K. With a population of 58,754, Casper is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
