Commute times in Castle Pines -how bad?

Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $189,918, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $827,900, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely average and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (West) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
