Commute times in Castle Rock -how bad?

Just moved here 12 months ago and It's a a smaller city city with about 76,614 people. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $143,031 in Castle Rock. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in retail here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is improving. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 15 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
