Anyone regret moving to Castro Valley?

OK so I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $138,069 in Castro Valley. It's a a smaller city city with about 65,389 people. The median home value here is around $1,058,200, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
