Unpopular opinion about Catalina Foothills

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,332/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $113,201 in Catalina Foothills. You can expect to pay around $1,332 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Eastside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
- The traffic scene is solid

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
