Should I move to Cathedral City or stay in Miami?

I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $420,700 on average. Median household income is $67,031, which feels about average for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts. Any help is appreciated.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Four distinct seasons
- The job market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
