Worst things about Cathedral City nobody talks about

OK so I've been here for 17 years and Poverty rate is 9.9%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 52,047 people. Household incomes average around $67,031 in Cathedral City. The median home value here is around $420,700, which is pretty steep. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
