Considering Catonsville vs San Diego -help me decide

Hey folks, I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,697/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it was the best decision I ever made.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Meadowbrook area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
