Hi all, Been living here since 2012. The median home value here is around $405,800, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $110,051 in Catonsville. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
