Alright, Been living here since 2011. The median home value here is around $296,700, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $296,700 on average. With a population of 26,014, Cave Spring is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,224 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? TIA! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Midtown area are solid. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 7 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much established but now it's tough.
