Co-working spaces in Cayce?

Alright, My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $1,358 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I work in retail here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is pretty good. Definitely worth checking out..

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much affordable but now it's decent.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely better than expected and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a lawyer, 49, moved here 5 years ago from Minneapolis. I've lived in North and West, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good healthcare facilities
2. Decent public transit for the size
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally underrated - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not very walkable outside downtown
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The food scene situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- North: Great for singles. underrated vibes, walkable.
- West: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Minneapolis, everything felt surprisingly good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is established. You can live comfortably on $100K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a chef, 38, moved here 7 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Highland and Pine Hills, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Nice parks and green spaces
2. Affordable housing options
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not very walkable outside downtown
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The cultural scene situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Highland: Great for families. average vibes, walkable.
- Pine Hills: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are wild. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $90K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
Feel free to reach out with questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
