Best coffee shops in Cedar City?

First post here. Just moved here 12 months ago and Rent is about $1,008/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 9.0%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

I've lived in The Heights for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- The outdoor recreation scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Old Town for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The food scene scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The traffic is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Came here for quality of life and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community vibe is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely pretty good and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Midtown) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
