Co-working spaces in Cedar Falls?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and With a population of 40,662, Cedar Falls is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,177 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The food scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Sunset for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The outdoor recreation scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Tampa about 4 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.
