Anyone else love living in Cedar Lake?

First post here. I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,209/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $259,900 on average. Poverty rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
