Best neighborhoods in Cedar Rapids for families?

We have two kids (4 and 12) and are looking for a family-friendly neighborhood in Cedar Rapids. Budget is around $925/month for rent. We prioritize good schools and safety. Any recommendations?

Also, are there good parks and activities for kids in the area?

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.
