Is Cedar Rapids worth it salary-wise?

Hello, Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $67,859 in Cedar Rapids. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $177,100 on average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 137K people. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
