Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.
I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into running, this place is surprisingly good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in West area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
