Things that make Celina unique

I'm a 26-year-old writer and It's a a small town city with about 11,017 people. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $158,800 on average. The median home value here is around $158,800, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Friendly people
- Nice parks and trails
- Low taxes
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- Boring for young people
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Homelessness issues downtown
Should I be concerned? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 3 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
