What surprised you most about Celina?

Hey folks, Household incomes average around $155,875 in Celina. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Let me know your thoughts.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Riverside. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in government. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Asian.
