Rent in Centennial getting crazy

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 20s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Centennial sits at 132.1 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 107K people. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,061/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $128,167 in Centennial. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Low taxes
- Lots of new development
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Poor road conditions
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
