Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Centennial sits at 132.1 per 100K. The median home value here is around $626,700, which is pretty steep. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much wild but now it's hit or miss.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
