I've been here for 15 years and The median home value here is around $99,000, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $758 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
