Rent vs buy in Central Islip -what makes sense?

I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. the quality of life is solid.
