Job market in Centreville for tech?

Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and Median household income is $143,704, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 71,885 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What do you all think?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
