Is Cerritos good for remote workers?

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $133,953 in Cerritos. Crime rate is something to consider -Cerritos sits at 250.8 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What would you do?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely improving and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Highland) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely pretty good and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Uptown) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
