Chadbourn quality of life -am I missing something?

Hello, My partner and I are Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $578/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just...
