Best kept secrets of Chain Lake, WA

First post here. I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 4,989 people. The median home value here is around $830,200, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $148,932, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $148,932 in Chain Lake. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Hot summers
- Lack of diversity
- Boring for young people
- Poor road conditions
Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
