Remote worker thinking about Champlin

We're a young couple and The median home value here is around $338,400, which seems about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Low crime in most neighborhoods

- Four distinct seasons

- The safety scene is excellent

The downsides:

- Summers can be brutally hot

- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
