First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -Channelview sits at 137.2 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 15.0%, which is around average. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
