Living in Chaparral -the reality

So, My partner and I are Homes are going for about $101,900 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Is this normal for Chaparral? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
