Best weekend activity in Charlotte?

Unemployment at 3.2% is {unemp_feel}. I don't understand why more people don't talk about Montford. Is this just me?

Great question. Here's my honest take after 12 years:

The good:
- Good schools in certain areas
- Diverse neighborhoods
- Strong local businesses

The not-so-good:
- Chain restaurants everywhere
- Not much to do late at night

Grocery prices are creeping up but still manageable.. I'd say for students, Charlotte is underrated. Hope that helps!

We pay /mo in Uptown for a 3-bed and I could find cheaper but love the neighborhood. The {industry} scene here is really picking up.

Let me give you the perspective nobody asked for but everyone needs.

I've lived in Fourth Ward, Steele Creek, and currently in Ballantyne. Each one feels like a different city honestly.

Rent comparison:
- Fourth Ward: /mo for a 1-bed
- Steele Creek: about /mo
- Ballantyne: /mo but pretty good

The weather took some getting used to but I actually love it now.. The key is finding your neighborhood. Once you do, Charlotte really clicks. Hope that helps!
