Freelancing from Charlotte — experience?

Been meaning to ask this. With a population of 886K, Charlotte is a major city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a chef and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
