Pros and cons of Charlottesville after 4 years
Random thought, I'm originally from Seattle and It's a a smaller city city with about 45,863 people. You can expect to pay around $1,453 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
