Is Chaska worth it salary-wise?

Random thought, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $1,436 for rent here. Rent is about $1,436/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks for reading. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The healthcare is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 11 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
