Just moved here 5 months ago and It's a a small town city with about 14,740 people. Rent is about $1,157/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $231,900, which is actually reasonable. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
