Longtime lurker here, It's a a small town city with about 14,740 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Moved here from Baltimore about 6 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to cost of living but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The healthcare is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I work in legal here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is pretty good. No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The dating scene is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

I work in hospitality here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is better than expected. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.
I've been here 1 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
