Weekend activities in Chatham?

So, Household incomes average around $106,030 in Chatham. The median home value here is around $231,900, which is actually reasonable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The healthcare scene is average

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
