OK so We have two kids and Homes are going for about $259,200 on average. Median household income is $61,028, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 183K people. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in East for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- The food scene scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
