What to expect moving to Chattanooga?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Houston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is decent.

Used to live on the North side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
