Is Chelan a good place to live?

I've been here for 3 years and Household incomes average around $71,996 in Chelan. The median home value here is around $428,200, which is pretty steep. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
